Eight friends, one house, a week you will be talking about for years: out on the slopes or up on the summit together by day, cooking, playing games and sitting by the fire in the evening. At Chalet Glemm Alpin you are not hotel guests – you live together, with room for everyone and a big table at the heart of the house.
A week for eight
Three cars, eight friends, far too much luggage. The rooms are sorted out in no time – four double bedrooms, one for each couple – and before everything is unpacked, the first round of drinks is on the big table in the Stubn.
The first evening, everyone cooks together: one chops, one stirs, one lays the table and the rest give helpful advice. After dinner the games come out, the tiled stove keeps everyone warm and – of course – it gets far too late.
Still, the next morning everyone is at the lift four minutes later. The fast ones race across more than 270 km of slopes in the Skicircus, the others take it easy, and at lunchtime the whole group meets at a mountain hut in the sun. In the afternoon it’s back to the chalet: boots off, a fire in the fireplace, and someone has already made tea.
That is how the week goes – a toboggan run, a snowshoe hike, long evenings around the table and stories you will still be telling years later. And in summer? Then it is summit hikes on over 400 km of trails, bike trails, the high-ropes course and a canyoning adventure – with the JOKER CARD everyone rides many cable cars for free – and in the evening the big terrace with its mountain view belongs to the group.
What awaits you at the chalet
- Cooking together: the fully equipped open kitchen has room for several people to help – and dinner is served at the long table in the traditional Stubn.
- Game nights: after dinner, the big table by the warm tiled stove is the place for games, stories and laughter.
- By the fire: the fire crackles in the living room, and firewood is included. In summer, evenings belong to the spacious terrace with its mountain view.
- Room for everyone: 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub – everyone has their own retreat, and there is no queue in the morning.
- Several cars: 3 parking spaces right at the chalet, two of them in the carport.
And the best part: less than a hotel
